System Theory Federico Califano

Federico Califano was born in 1991. He received in 2015 the Master degree (cum laude) in Automation Engineering in University of Bologna. He received in 2019 the Ph.D in Automatic Control and Operational Research at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering of the University of Bologna. He works currently as PostDoc researcher in University of Twente at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science (EWI), Robotics and Mechatronics (RAM). His research activity deals with different topics, such as repetitive control systems, port-Hamiltonian modelling and control, stabilisation of distributed parameter systems, and trajectory generation for robots.

Ir. Ramy Rashad Hashem

Ramy Rashad Hashem was born in 1991. He received his M.Sc. degree (Excellent with Highest Honors) in 2015 in Mechatronics Engineering  from the German Univ. in Cairo (GUC), Egypt. He joined the Mechatronics engineering department in the GUC as a teaching assistant from 2013-2016. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the robotics and mechatronics group in the Univ. of Twente, Netherlands.

His research interests include aerial robotics, nonlinear and geometric control, and port-Hamiltonian dynamic systems.
